Kyrie's Difficult Decision

Kyrie is back!  She is carrying Kyrie’s Fantastic Words List everywhere she goes and collecting fantastic vocabulary words to boost her conversations and thoughts with!

Kyrie is beginning to enjoy school at PS 154 — but in the midst of an exciting cultural exploration challenge she discovers that the new students in her class have become the target of a different kind of bullying. Kyrie is really worried as she confronts a difficult decision.  Can she figure out a way to stop the bullying or should she mind her business so she won’t become the target again?  And would a master plan even work this time?

Kyrie’s Difficult Decision is about learning through reading, exploring and respecting cultures that are different from our own, and the excitement realized through expanding our vocabulary  and sharing new words with others.  It is also about the dilemma of choosing between being a silent bystander and a bystander advocate.
